Feminine energy is that glow from the inside out that helps you to naturally radiate— happiness, beauty, strength, and power.
Feminine energy is all about embodying internal emotional traits like intuition, empathy and compassion, creativity, receptivity, and being rather than doing.
When you are in your feminine energy you are radiant, confident and effortlessly magnetic.
What is femininity?
Femininity is the glow you have from the outside that helps you to radiate beauty in your appearance, style, and behavior.
It is the appearance of what it means to be feminine.
Femininity is more concerned with feminine girl aesthetics — feminine makeup looks, feminine outfits, practicing personal hygiene, and being more feminine with your behavior.
Mindful practices to boost feminine energy

1. Gratitude journaling to boost feminine energy
I used to focus only on the things I did not have.
After learning that gratitude journaling encourages slowness, mindfulness, and being present, I decided to start a gratitude journal.
Pouring my thoughts on paper became incredibly therapeutic for me, this led me to have a more optimistic look at life.
I realize that life is beautiful 99% of the time if we rewire our brains to seek out and appreciate small pleasures.
I can assure you that taking a few minutes out of your day to be thankful can boost your feminine energy and mood, setting the tone for the rest of your day.
Practice writing at least 3 things you’re grateful for every day and be specific. Instead of saying “I’m grateful for my home”, say I’m grateful that my home brings me peace and joy”.
Doing this will not only get you into the habit of listing things but feeling the joy and appreciation in your heart.
2. Light candles and incense to boost feminine energy
Did someone say to turn ordinary moments into rituals?
Snuggling with a cozy blanket is one of my favorite evening rituals.
The evenings are usually when our busy days wind down, so you can now set the mood for self-care and reflection.
After a long day, there’s so much on our minds and this ritual will give you a mindful break to reflect, slow down, and center yourself.
Lighting candles and incense elevates your energy by creating a warm and sensual atmosphere and setting the mood for mindful meditation or yoga.
Once you’ve set the mood, meditate for 5-10 minutes, or do some light stretching or yoga to clear your mind or reduce tension in your body.
This moment is all about being present and finding balance.
3. Listen to melodious music to boost feminine energy
Music has always brought me joy.
I love listening to sensual tunes by Sade and Lana Del Rey to embody grace and elegance.
Whether doing your morning routine or just feeling the need to move your body, the melodious flow of music will awaken your emotions and sensuality.
Of course, you don’t have to listen to music all day, you just need a few minutes of soft tunes to flow and reconnect with your body.
4. Connecting to nature
Spending time in nature is our most grounded connection to our feminine energy.
Being out in nature reminds us to slow down, be present, and stay in nature’s rhythms and flow.
Boost your feminine energy by walking barefoot on the grass or sand, sitting by a lake or ocean, buying fresh flowers for your home and mindfully arranging them, or a simple practice like waking up early and watching the sunrise.
5. Taking mindful breaks
One of the easiest habits to adopt to boost your feminine energy is taking short mindful breaks.
These breaks are all for recharging your energy, restoring balance, reducing stress and inviting peace to your daily routine.
For a mindful break, find a quiet space and take a 20-minute break to just calm your nervous system and center your mind.
You’ll be surprised how a brief pause can restore your energy and focus.
A quick tip: set a reminder on your phone to take a mindful break every few hours throughout your day.
6. Eating slowly and savoring your meal
Find a comfy spot in your home and eat slowly, savoring your meal rather than rushing.
This practice encourages mindful consumption and gives you a moment to pause, enjoy and refresh.
Take your time and enjoy the aroma, flavors, and texture as you chew slowly.
Also, take short pauses during each bite and breathe and reflect, turning your routine meal into pleasure and mindfulness.
7. Reading something romantic or inspiring
Reading an inspiring or romantic novel is another great way to boost feminine energy.
Romantic plots tend to spark passion, vulnerability, and your very own creativity.
When I started to read romantic and self-help books, I was so creatively inspired on what I wanted to write about for this blog 💜
And I have not regretted it since!
To stay motivated, you can join a reading club and share with like-minded persons like yourself.

8. Wearing soft feminine clothes every day
This might come as a surprise to you, but the way you dress plays a significant role in how you feel, move and behave.
Clothes can also make you feel more feminine and confident. I talk more about this in my post How to be more feminine.
The movement and flow in clothes help you to embody feminine energy with graceful movement, flow, and ease.
So the next time you’re out shopping, buy yourself some comfy loungewear, soft dresses, skirts, and scarves made with soft fabrics like silk, chiffon, cotton, and lace.
These chic feminine outfits will accentuate your curves making you feel radiant and confident in your body.
Tip: make dressing up for yourself a part of your morning ritual and romanticize your life with your elegance and beauty.
9. Wearing light makeup every day
Makeup is more than just looking pretty every day, it’s a form of self-care that enhances feminine energy.
Light feminine makeup will help you to feel radiant, confident and in touch with your femininity.
By intentionally choosing light makeup you don’t hide your flaws but highlight your unique features that bring out your natural beauty.
If you want your appearance to be more feminine by using makeup, choose soft pink shades whether blushes, lipsticks, or lip-gloss, lightweight skin tint foundation, dewy cream highlighter and choose soft brown, or flattering nude eyeshadow shades that give you an elegant look and accentuate your eyes rather than making them look overdone.
10. Getting enough sleep every day
Getting more sleep is one of the most powerful practices to restore and nurture feminine energy.
Your feminine energy thrives in softness and flow, when you get enough rest, you naturally start your day slow, tapping into your intuition and creativity.
Getting enough rest will also give you beautiful and radiant skin in the morning.
I remember always going to my bed at 1 and 2 am in the mornings. I would wake up with no low energy and my skin looking dull, pale, and lifeless.
I was a total zombie 😩
Once I started prioritizing sleep, my body restored and repaired itself, which gave me a glowing feminine radiance.
Getting more sleep also helps me to listen to my inner voice to think creatively and allow my ideas to flow naturally.
11. Creating a skincare routine
Beautiful skin, nails, and hair are everything a girl needs to romanticize her life, wouldn’t you agree?
This self-care practice is such an easy and healthy habit to boost feminine energy.
This normal and simple routine can be transformed into a ritual that infuses beauty and softness to nurture and appreciate yourself.
Now this doesn’t mean you should go spend your money on expensive skincare products, you just need to grab your drugstore products, dim your lights or light a candle to set the mood and do a little bit of self care.
Wash your face, gently exfoliate with a soft scrub, apply your moisturizer or sunscreen, massage your face slowly, and don’t forget to apply soft lip balm for kissable lips.
Tip: make this your morning or evening ritual every day and infuse in the experience.
