I get it. I’ve also landed in the 5 a.m routine of pushing to get everything done rather than pouring into myself.
Not on purpose, but because I thought this was what I needed to do to “become my dream woman.”
Now, how was I supposed to know that this routine would kill my feminine energy?
I’m sure you didn’t know this either.
Now, this post is not about preaching to you about how much you’ve failed at giving your feminine energy the love it needs or convincing you that you don’t have to be a morning person.
I just want you to know that your 5 a.m routine gets to be sacred.
You heard that right.

Your mornings don’t have to start with a buzz; you don’t have to wake up to the noise of the outside world.
Your feminine energy needs you to choose her flow and softness.
That’s right, when you soften into your feminine energy first thing in the morning, not only does your morning become quieter, but you set the tone for a day that feels grounding, intuitive, and nourishing.

Now, if you’ve been on TikTok or any other social media as of late, this is not your first or second time hearing about the concept of “feminine energy.”
But with so many perspectives thrown around, I’m sure you’re thinking, what is it really?
For me, when I think of feminine energy, I love to think of it as becoming my dream self from the inside out.
It is when you are so magnetic and intuitive that you attract beauty in every part of your life.
A woman in her feminine energy radiates with happiness, confidence, power, softness, and beauty.
She embraces play and pleasure every day.
She accepts love with an open heart.
She trusts her own voice.
And she nurtures her body, mind, and soul.
She just enjoys every second of being her.

What Does It Mean To Soften Into Your Feminine Energy?
Now, when I was thinking about writing this post, my thoughts went straight to the moment I decided that I wanted to be a woman who leads with my feminine energy every day.
At first, I felt I had to force myself to show up as my dream woman.
I had to smile when I didn’t feel like it.
Speak in a slower, softer voice.
Or become obsessed with the soft girl life.
Yes, you know, that 5 a.m morning routine that’s all things pink robes and coffee?
(Eye roll)
Now, I did this for more than three months until I fell into a rut.
I was completely drained.
Constantly waking up early and trying to get everything checked off made me more anxious than ever before.
I felt I was outside of my body, like I was trying to live someone else’s life through their body.
Finally, after breaking out of survival mode and motivating myself, I decided to ditch the mundane routine and listen to my body.
Connect with her, not by forcing her but by asking her;
What feels right for you today?
Doing this every morning gave me space to listen to my intuition rather than judge her.
I realized I do not need to become someone else.
I was already born a feminine energy queen ( by just being a girl).
I just need to flow and soften into her by moving at my own pace, trusting myself, and following what feels nourishing to my mind, body, and soul.
And this is possible for you too.

When you wake up, don’t just reach for your phone; take a few minutes to pause before diving into everything on your to-do list.
Try these short rituals to quiet your nervous system:
1. Wake Up Gently
Set a gentle alarm the night before. If the sound of an alarm is jarring, a sunrise alarm clock will give you a calmer, more refreshed wake-up.
Important: Do not check your phone (not even your emails)
2. Breathe In The Silence.
Place your hand on your heart or your tummy and take three deep breaths. Do this 3–5 times. This tells your nervous system you’re safe. You can even try meditating to bring a sense of calm and peace into your morning.
3. Lie A Bit Longer In Bed.
Stretch your arms and legs lazily like a cat to wake up your body. Hug yourself, arms to chest, wiggle your toes, and enjoy the warmth of your sheets, the stillness of the morning, and the sunlight peeking in at you.
4. Practice Gratitude Before Getting Out Of Bed.
When your body feels the urge to sit up, say a prayer or whisper an affirmation out loud.
If you’re like me, journaling comes naturally to you in the morning.
Start with writing out your thoughts, even if it’s just one sentence.
I got this gratitude journal that literally only takes me less than 3 minutes to write out three things I’m grateful for and my daily affirmation.
5. Read for a Few Minutes
The quiet of the morning is the perfect time to pick up a good book. Reach for something inspirational and motivational to program your thoughts for the day.
6. Embody The Energy You Want To Feel Every Day
If you want to feel at peace, calm, or confident, embody this energy by choosing rituals that remind you of the woman you want to become.
7. Set An Intention
Whether it’s work-related or something personal, write down one thing you want to be intentional with during your day.
Find Beauty In Tending To Yourself
There is a quiet kind of beauty that lives in the early hours of the day. In the morning, before the world rushes in, tend to yourself. Sip something warm, breathe deeply by a window, or move slowly as you get ready.
8. Open a Window to let in the Sunlight and Fresh Morning Air
When I started spending two minutes by the window just taking in fresh air, my body let go of the urge to rush, and instead softened and slowed down.
9. Make Your Bed Beautifully
Take your time to smooth the sheets, fold your blankets slowly, fluff your pillows, and put them back neatly.
10. Hydrate First Thing (Before Coffee)
After 6-8 hours of sleep, our body usually wakes up dehydrated. So, delay the morning jitters that come with coffee in the morning and instead reach for a full glass of water. This will help to wake up your body naturally without stress.
11. Light a Candle and put on a Soft Playlist
Let the flames of the candle signal that this moment is intentional and allow the music to move your body with grace.
12. Smile at Yourself as you Repeat Soft Affirmations
I find myself doing this a lot lately. Not only does it help me to be more graceful, but it gives my body the message that ‘I’m okay, I’m Safe, ‘I Trust Myself,’ which not only connects me to my heart but shapes how I feel and move throughout your day.
13. Make Yourself a Comforting and Warm Beverage.
Caffeine will push you into a nervous energy in the wake of the morning; go for herbal teas ( chamomile, rose, mint, or raspberry leaf). As you hold your mug, savor the feeling of the steam rising and sip slowly—this anchors you in your body.
14. Wear Clothes That Radiate How You Feel From The Inside Out
Putting on a silk robe or cozy loungewear will wake up your body and remind it that the day has started, and it’s okay to ease into it with softness.

Your mornings don’t need to start with an intense workout. Instead, soften into your feminine energy with intentional movements that begin in rhythm with you—not against you.
15. Make Yourself a Comforting Meal
I love choosing a nourishing breakfast and preparing it, letting my body find its own rhythm while I do. This could be oatmeal, a strawberry matcha smoothie, toast with egg and cottage cheese, or a breakfast burrito, whatever you love for breakfast, reach for your ingredients slowly, pour them gently, and stir with ease.
16. Eat Your Meal Slowly, Without Distraction
Before savoring your first bite, unclench your jaw, drop your shoulders, and inhale gently before your first bite. As you chew, think about the flavors and texture, and just sit without distracting yourself with anything else. No checking your emails or doomscrolling.
17. 5-minute stretch or light yoga.
This doesn’t have to be long, literally 5 minutes is enough. This will gently wake your body and silently remind you that you don’t have to rush.
18. Step Outside and Let The Sun Gently Touch Your Skin
This is perfect if you don’t have a window in your room where the sun can hit your bed in the morning.
19. Take a Slow Walk Barefoot or in Soft Socks Around Your Home
With each step, walk slowly and intentionally. This will strengthen your connection to the earth, reminding you that you are grounded and safe.
20. Go for a 30-minute Walk and Connect with Nature.
The sound of birds chirping, rustling leaves, and gentle water will help you to soften into your body and relax.
21. Turn Your Morning Bath Into a Ritual.
Light candles or turn down your lights. Prepare warm water and add scented bath salts, play soft music, and finish with your body oil while your skin is still damp.
