Now this question might come off as rude, but I’ve gotta ask.
“Do you have your dream body right now?”
I can proudly say “I did not”, eight months ago, so I can relate if your answer is a hard “No”.
Now I’m not talking about the body that comes up in your feed of girls who weigh 120 pounds, have abs, and work out every day of the week.
Even though there is nothing wrong with that (if that’s your thing)
I’m talking about the “dream body” where you love every part of yourself.
Not just your body, but who you are.
When you look in the mirror, you don’t find yourself cringing, criticizing, or slightly looking away.
Now, I was this girl several months ago, and I struggled so much with smiling at the girl in the mirror or even acknowledging her.
I was so critical of my looks that sometimes I wished to be someone else.
Of course, I would watch health gurus and content creators talk about how they got in shape, but their tips didn’t work for me.
After trying to get my dream body for three years, I felt I did not have the willpower, was not strict enough on myself, and was ‘not trying hard enough’.
I felt this way for a very long time.
Not until I change the way I see myself and decide to listen to my body’s needs.
I stopped trying to change my body and focused on the relationship I have with myself.
Once I consciously decided to see myself as a woman who cares for her body, I activated my feminine energy, and naturally, my dream body came with it.

1. Decide That You’re Allowed To Have Your Dream Body
You don’t need to cut yourself off from all of your favorite foods or start on a 1200-calorie-a-day diet to get your dream body.
You just have to fully decide that you get to have it.
And this starts with you saying “Yes” to choosing to feel good in your body.
And once you decide that you get to have your desire, this decision will change your life.
It will give you permission to feel confident in your skin and stop feeling stuck and hover in self-doubt, but see your dream body as something to nurture and soften into rather than something to fix.
2. Recite Feminine Energy Affirmations Every Day

I do this every morning.
It really works.
The more I repeat these affirmations, it changes my inner dialogue changes from “I should be doing better now” to “I get to care for and love my body every day”.
Here are a few to recite every day:

“I move with grace, ease, and confidence.”
“My body enjoys being cared for.”

So quit punishing yourself.

Before putting anything on your plate, ask yourself, “Am I loving my body right now, or am I punishing it?”
If you’re choosing foods that make you feel light, energized, and cared for, then you’re supporting your body, but if you’re eating heavily processed foods that lack the nutrients your body needs, you’re keeping your body in a low-energy state and away from your dream body.
Now, this doesn’t mean that for every meal of the day, you have to reach for a healthy snack; you just need to add in your leafy greens and food options that are nourishing.
I was the girl who ate because I felt bored and too rigid, but after choosing to nourish my body for several weeks, not only did my cravings fall off naturally, but I also started to lose weight without even trying.
And yes, you too have your dream body.
You can support your body by connecting to it rather than controlling it.

If your answer is yes, you’re treating your body like a dumpster without even noticing it.
You’re coping, instead of caring for your body.
And here’s where the 80/20 rule comes in.
It starts with you choosing foods that nourish your body 80% of the time and enjoying food purely for pleasure for 20% of the time.
This rule will help you to quit restricting yourself, dieting, and binge eating, and remove your limiting beliefs around food.
8. Move Your Body Gently
Moving your body gently when you wake up isn’t lazy.
